I understand that these terms (the “Terms and Conditions”) are a legal agreement between you ("The Registrant") and The Laura Hyde Foundation (“LHF”, “Virtual Event Host”, “us”, “we”, “our”). Other companies associated with the virtual Virtual Event Host are; The campaign volunteers We Remember Them 2021, the fundraising operator Just Giving and the virtual event online registration platform hosted on the LHF website (laurahydefoundation.org)

Email Communication LHF primarily uses email to communicate with its competitors. By entering this virtual event, I agree to receive emails regarding this specific virtual event. Please see the specific Data Protection Policy held on the LHF website for further details of how your data will be processed. I understand that other Laura Hyde Foundation marketing emails, such as newsletters and promotions, have an ‘unsubscribe’ link, but event specific communication emails do not have this link, for the safety of the registrant. The Laura Hyde Foundation cannot be responsible if event information does not reach the intended recipient by email. The onus is on the competitor to ensure that their Spam filters will allow LHF emails through, for example by campaigns@laurahydefoundation.org to their email address books. LHF can only be responsible for ensuring that the email address provided is the one to which virtual event emails are sent. Media and Photography I understand and accept that media and imagery captured as part of the virtual event may be used to publicise and promote LHF and the We Remember Them 2021 virtual event and sponsors. Fundraising This Just Giving platform (“the Platform”) allows users to raise funds for, and to give donations to LHF .

Donations made through the Platform will be held by Just Giving acting as an agent on behalf of LHF, before being transferred to LHF as per their agreement. Donations made through the Platform will be subject to processing charges of the payment system. Please note that charities (including LHF) are only legally permitted to return donations in very limited circumstances e.g. where the donor lacks mental capacity. LHF therefore ask that you take care when entering your details when making a donation using the Platform, as they may be unable to provide any refund once your payment has been processed. They do not charge a fee for processing refunds. Any requests for refunds for LHF are to made directly to hello@laurahydefoundation.org Gift Aid If you are a UK taxpayer you are encouraged to claim Gift Aid when donating your own money to your fundraising page by completing the Gift Aid declaration which is available online.

If you pay in money to your fundraising page other than money you are donating to LHF personally (e.g. cash from collections, family members, ticket sales and any activity where you get something in return for your money) you cannot claim Gift Aid. Gift Aid can be claimed on individual donations that are made to LHF offline. To claim Gift Aid each individual making a donation must complete a Gift Aid declaration confirming that they are a UK taxpayer and provide his or her name and address including post code. Use of Fundraising Pages As access to all open fundraising pages on Just Giving and the event platform is unrestricted, and can therefore be seen by anyone, we advise users to avoid posting personal information about themselves or someone else (e.g. addresses, telephone numbers) when writing on a fundraising page. If you are creating a fundraising page and would like to upload photos to it, please ensure that you are either the owner of the copyright in the photo, or you have the permission of the person who is. Similarly, if the image and/or text you would like to post features the name and/or likeness of any living person, especially where he/she has been diagnosed with a medical condition (including mental health conditions), you must get his/her consent before you do this. If the image and/or text you would like to post features the name and/or likeness of any person who has died, please get consent from a member of their family before you do this. We welcome and encourage users to customise messages on fundraising pages, and to leave comments when making donations. However, racist, sexist, obscene, defamatory, misleading or otherwise offensive or upsetting language and/or content is not permitted. The following uses of the fundraising pages are also prohibited:

· posting or uploading any content or material that infringes someone else’s intellectual property or other legal rights, unless you have obtained the owner or relevant person’s consent first;

· running any form of prize draw, competition or lottery, or offering any form of incentive to encourage people to donate through their fundraising page;

· carrying out or encouraging any illegal or unlawful acts; and

· sending junk or “spam” communications, or any other form of messaging or content for promotional or commercial purposes.

LHF and We Remember Them 2021 are not responsible for the contents of any fundraising page, nor do we necessarily endorse the fundraising activities referred to on any page. Whilst we do not actively monitor Just Giving, if and when we become aware that a user has breached any of the terms of this section above, we reserve the right to edit or remove the offending message(s) and/or content, or to close the relevant page, without further notice at our sole discretion. Please note that donations will not be refunded in these circumstances. Fundraising pages will remain open, and donations can be made through them, unless and until they are deleted by the page owner. Fundraising Reward Gifts I will only receive a fundraising reward if I fundraise the stated amount required to unlock the reward. No rewards will be provided to spectators or participants who do not fundraise the

specified amount. LHF and We Remember Them 2021 reserves the right to change the style, size and type of mementos offered in the reward. LHF reserves the right to change the manner in which a participant can access the items within rewards bundles at any given time, e.g. through direct purchase transaction for the return of goods.

Fundraising rewards will be posted out to participants using the address provided at the point of registration. Fundraising rewards will be posted out from 30th September 2021 and it may take up to 4 weeks to arrive from submission of the participant’s fundraising.

Removal of Registrants

LHF and We remember Them 2021 reserves the right at any time to remove registrants from the virtual event or to prevent participants participating in the virtual event if in the Virtual Event Host’s sole discretion, it considers such action necessary for protection of reputation and enjoyment to other registrants or for any other reasonable reason. No refund of donations made at the point of virtual event entry shall be made Reselling or Swapping I agree that participation in the virtual event is personal to me, I am strictly prohibited from swapping or selling my place in the virtual event or allowing any other person to participate in my place. If found to be in breach of this the organiser reserves the right to exclude me from participation in this virtual event.

I agree for the purposes of this condition; contact details include full name, email address, postal address and phone number ("Contact Details") and personal information includes medical data collected for health and safety purposes where required ("Personal Information"). I agree that my Contact Details and Personal Information can be stored, used by LHF and their virtual event partners in connection with the organisation and administration of the virtual Event. I agree that my Contact Details and Personal Information may be used by LHF and their virtual event partners in connection with the compilation of statistical information Data Protection: Virtual Event Host opt In I agree for the purposes of this condition; contact details include name, contact number and email address ("Contact Details"). If I elect to hear from Laura Hyde Foundation during my entry, I agree that my Contact Details can be used for the purposes of:

· the promotion and marketing of the virtual event;

· adding me to a mailing list to keep me informed about any future events and services which I may be interested in, such as leisure activities relating to either similar types of events or activities; and

· promotional and marketing material in respect of similar events, other community based activities organised by our virtual event partners;

Laura Hyde Foundation shall commit to abide by the General Data Protection Regulation 2018, to ensure that Contact Details or marketing information pertaining or relating to me which comes into the possession or control of LHF or their virtual event partners, shall not be used or reproduced in whole or in part in any form except for the purposes outlined in these conditions. I understand that I have the right to opt out after registration by contacting the LHF participant services team on hello@larahydefoundation.org or WRT2021relay@gmail.com and asking for my data preferences to be updated. Additional Data Protection: Virtual Event Partner’s If I elect to hear from a particular virtual event partner during my entry, I agree that the specified Contact Details will be passed to said partner and accept that I will be contacted by the partner in relation to the specific details stated in the form question. I understand I will be able to opt out of receiving such communication at any time by contacting the virtual event partner directly. LHF agrees to transfer the said data to the partner in a secure manner, compliant with GDPR 2018. © Laura Hyde Foundation 2021
